How many of us have made the mistake to buy 3-4 tripods before finding the right one ?
So we either buy a cheap and low-quality tripod, and then get that one that is excessively expensive and too heavy.
It’s never easy to make this investment because you can never test tripods beforehand, and it’s only after several months of use that you realize the qualities and flaws.
So is the K&F Concept the best travel tripods? We tell you everything!

Regarding the weight, for an aluminum tripod, I am pleasantly surprised. The tripod weighs barely 2kg. This makes it portable yet reliable enough to keep your camera safe..
It’s not necessarily the lightest travel tripod, but it’s certainly a worthwhile compromise, since it’s made of aluminum, and you gain a lot in stability compared to carbon fiber tripods.
Quality of the material & Finitions
The first impression you get when you take the K&F SA254T2 in your hand is the robustness.
We feel that K&F Concept, did not make sacrifices in terms of quality and did not use low-end materials.
Made of aluminium, the tripod itself is very sturdy and has simple, easy-to-use locking mechanisms that keep the head in place where I want it The knobs and adjustable feet are easy to use and well made. The head ball is of great quality and and very smooth.
The legs can extend to an insane height and even then, it is extremely sturdy and includes a hook at the bottom to attach weights to weigh it down in windy situations. The tripod also folds up to be very compact, making it easy to take on trips.
Roughly when it is folded, it measures 48cm, and comes with a very nice bag, which makes it very easy to store and one of our best companions in the every day life.
while it can reach 1.95m in height which will be sufficient for any situation
Solidity & stability
I use relatively heavy equipment: the Canon 5D mark IV, with a 24-70mm and a 70-200mm. Despite everything; the tripod supports very well the load and remains rock solid
In theory it is capable of supporting a total weight of 10kg. If you work with a remote control you will get spectacular results even for very long exposures.
I have already worked with other tripods of the same price range that were much more basic and weak.
The Tripod is 90% black with orange accents which gives it a very elegant touch and makes it stand out from many other tripods in the range. It also comes with a very nice carrying case.
This tripod is incredibly versatile and has the ability to literally transform itself to take pictures from any angle one could wish.
There are two separate ball joints that lock into place with turn knobs and two separate swivel joints that can also be locked into place. This allows a great deal of freedom of movement and you can place the camera where it needs to be. The swivel joints rotate extremely smoothly and I think people who do video can benefit from this.
The ability to arrange the main rod sideways to position a camera directly on a subject is ingenious and is the most useful feature, as it makes taking food photos, macros, unboxing videos a snap.
Une jambe s’enlève facilement pour un mono-pied et la tête à boule est l’une des meilleures que j’ai jamais utilisées à ce prix.
What I like most about this tripod is the detachable stand that you can combine with the head to use it as a monopod. If you like to capture moving subjects, this feature will be very handy. It can also be very useful in places where it is not suitable to deploy the tripod.
Taking photos at ground level
The main rod can also be reversed for ground level shooting. We can play with the different combinations of leg spacing and ball head positions. We can even use the horizontal position of the rod which really gives us unlimited possibilities.
Quality Ball head
The ball head and all levers make it easy to use. It has a leveler so you don’t have to struggle.
Who is it for ?
Whether you’re a pro or an amateur, this tripod will suit all photography practices. Its versatility makes macro photographers, food photographers, youtubers, will be particularly delighted.
But its compactness and lightness mean it will also be a perfect companion for travel photographers.
In short, the K&F Professional Camera Tripod is everything it promises to be: stable and versatile.
Personally I am on my 4th tripod, and if I had known about the K&F Professional Camera Tripod earlier, I would have certainly saved some money.
With an unbeatable value for money, it proudly stands up to more expensive tripods. So if you looking for a budget friendly tripod this is the one to get.
