Welcome to our Panama Wonders photo tour workshop! Panama is a true hidden gem, just waiting to be discovered by the world of travel photographers. This very special trip is designed & led by French photographer, Tristan Quevilly. He speaks fluent Spanish, English & French, and is deeply connected to the people, including several indigenous tribes.

Detailed itinerary
DAY 1
Welcome to Panamá
We’ll meet in the airport lobby, pick up and transfer to your hotel. (40min – 14.8km). Arrival at your charming hotel, installation. First things first, we will start with a Dinner to get get acquainted.. Tristan will conduct a slideshow and tour briefing
DAY 2
Panamá City – Gamboa
Early departure in a private vehicle from the hotel to the foot of Cerro Ancon to start a walk of about half an hour to reach the top of the hill where the Panamanian flag proudly flies over the canal and offers a superb view of the city. A rich fauna and flora flourishes on its slopes, making the short climb even more enjoyable. After the visit, the private vehicle will take you to the village of Gamboa, to board a speedboat to sail on the famous waters of the Panama Canal, a maze of islands and lakes. Observe its rich biodiversity while rubbing shoulders with the giants of the seas transiting from one ocean to another. On the way back to the marina, a stop on Isla Mono allows us to spend some time with the Capuchins before finishing the excursion in Gamboa. Night at Gamboa Rainforest Resort in a Standard room with garden view. You will be accompanied by a professional photographer during the day.
DAY 3
Embera Puru
Hotel departure in a 4×4 vehicle for about an hour ride to the small port of Puerto Corotu to board a traditional canoe, heading off to the village of the Embera Puru. You’ll learn more about the daily life of the community and share precious moments during a traditional lunch. During the two-hour activity, you can take a swim in the nearby rivers, or follow the “Botanico” on his walks in the forest to learn all about the benefits of using plants in the traditional Embera medicine or to learn about ritual tattoos. Night at Gamboa Rainforest Resort in a Standard room with garden view. You will be accompanied by a professional photographer during the day.
DAY 4
San Blas Islands
Discover the well-kept secret of the Kuna Indians, more than 360 pearls of sparse white sand in the midst of the turquoise waters of the Caribbean along the Panamanian coast.. paradise on earth only a short distance from the coastline. Private transport (both ways) from the hotel in Panama City to Barsukun (or Carti) port to catch the boat to San Blas islands..
DAY 5
San Blas Islands
After breakfast, we’ll head off to Gorgy Island (depending on the weather conditions). You’ll discover a paradise island, with no tourists and the perfect spot for snorkelling. After a meal on the beach organised by the crew, you’ll head off to Sugar where you’ll spend the night. Dinner in the evening will be on board.
DAY 6
San Blas Islands
This morning, departure for an hour sail to the beautiful island of Coco Bandero. This heavenly place with turquoise waters is perfect for swimming and ocean floor exploring. You’ll also have the possibility of kayaking between the islands. After lunch on board, we’ll head off to Kuanidup for the night.
DAY 7
San Blas – Panamá City
Our escapade in the San Blas is coming to an end. You will enjoy free time to enjoy the sea the whole morning then enjoy a fresh lunch.In the afternoon, you’ll sail towards the continent and the port of Carti, where the 4×4 is waiting for you for the transfer back to your hotel in Panama City. In the evening we will take a transport from the area of Casco Viejo to Punta Pacifica zona to have a cocktail at JW Marriott terrasse.
DAY 8
End of the Adventure
A private vehicle will take you from your hotel to Tocumen International airport.
